Up-Up-Update and Away!

Hooray for cheesy subject titles. But none the less a brand spanking new update is upon yee. This is the first of a series of updates coming to my various blogs over the next few days. I am super exstatic about the fact that in under 55 days I will be on a flight back to Vancouver. Also stoked on the following things:
-to be living in the Kitsilano area.
-To be almost entirely recovered from my longboarding accident.
-my two actual days off that I have coming up
-to see Death Cab For Cutie (Ian if you need the money ASAP send me your address and I will mail you a check)
-a week and a half during which time my parents will be away thus leaving me the house to myself

I am however less stoked about the indeffinate hiatus that my film is currently on. I do want to edit the first couple of scenes so as to feel as though I am actually doing something to forward the progress of the movie. As demanded by the unwritten rules of artistic creation I attempted to drink myself into a stuppour upon receiving the bad news from my actors. This was harder than I had expected. I mean, I'm the first person to tell you that I can drink a lot but like a pitcher and a bit of beer, plus a Jager shot, plus 5 or 6 Surfer's On Acid is just a bit ridiculous. I only got mildly inebriated and only after the last SOA.

Had a Moolatte from Dairy Queen and only barely enjoyed it. It tasted good and all but it was too thick and thus lacked the thirst quenching ability found in a Frappiccino or Timmy's Iced Cap. I can't quite remember how whatever Blenz has tastes so currently the Moolatte stands at number 3 on my list of commercial iced coffee beverages list.

Started seriously swimming and running this week and have come to three conclusions: 1)Music actually does make running easier 2) I can't swim in a straight line with my eyes closed (incidentaly I am also out 20 bucks for a new pair of goggles and 3) that whole wait half an a hour after a meal thingy is not a myth (at least not after a three course meal consisting of a monster rack of ribs and delicious cheesecake)

Ian, I meant to mention a while ago that Xavier vs. the Danger Room = freaking awesome. I can't wait for the next issue. Incidentally have you been reading any Ultimates 2? cause that is also hella sweet.

Writing has begun in earnest for my Untitled-God-Road-Trip-Movie. Anyone have suggestions for a title?

That's about it for tonight. Soooo here is a sneak peak at what updates you can expect to be coming to blogs near you:

-At least two new pages of The Masked Avenger on http://stueypopp.deviantart.com, however if I manage to get more than that done then I will release them over the course of several days so as to not overload my fans

-a bit of humourous (at least to me) writing over at blogger cause well I need to put that blog to use and also succumb to the indirect peer pressure created by Cam and Warren splitting their journals "in twain"

-and finally some random crap over at MySpace because I will undoubtedly be bored and have nothing to do at some point next week

So that is the low down, to recap: dA=art/comics, LiveJournal=my boring life, blogger=random writing and dumb pictures, MySpace=random crap for the sake of me being less bored.

Till next time True Believers,

Stu "The Stu" Popp

P.S. Katie I don't know if you read this but if you do then you should definately make a stop over in Fernie on your road trip to or from Calgary
